Common Questions
My payment was approved but I need a receipt.
[Placeholder] Please visit the Gram Panchayat office during working hours with your UPI transaction reference number. The office staff can issue an official stamped receipt upon verification.
My name or property details are incorrect.
[Placeholder] Corrections to ownership records must be made in person at the Gram Panchayat office. Please bring original documents such as a property card (satbara utara) or registered sale deed as proof.
My payment proof was rejected. What do I do?
[Placeholder] Proof is rejected when the screenshot does not clearly show the transaction ID, amount, and recipient. Please capture a fresh screenshot from your UPI app showing all payment details and resubmit, or visit the office to make a cash payment.
I paid at the office but the portal still shows dues.
[Placeholder] Physical payments take up to 3–5 working days to reflect in the portal. If it has been longer, please contact the office with your physical receipt.
How do I register a new property?
[Placeholder] Property registration and new entries in the tax registry are handled directly by the Gram Panchayat office. Please visit during working hours with the relevant documents.
How to Pay Your Property Tax

Select your village
On the home page, pick your Gram Panchayat from the list and tap Pay Tax.

Find your name
Select your name from the owner dropdown. No account or password needed.

Review your dues
Your dashboard shows all outstanding property tax demands by year. Tap Pay Now on the demand you want to clear.

Scan the UPI QR code
A QR code is generated for the exact amount. Scan it with Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, or any UPI app, or tap the app buttons for a one-tap deep-link.

Upload your payment screenshot
After paying, take a screenshot from your UPI app showing the transaction ID, amount, and "Success" / "Paid" status. Upload it on the confirmation page.

Wait for GP approval
The GP office reviews your proof and marks the payment as Paid. You will receive a transaction ID as your reference. Official stamped receipts are available from the GP office during working hours.

Approving online payments
Log in at /admin/v/{village}/login. Open Pending in the nav bar. Review the uploaded screenshot and tap Approve to mark the demand as Paid, or Reject with a reason if the proof is invalid.
Recording cash payments
Go to Demands → find the property → enter the amount received → tap Mark as Cash Paid. The demand is immediately updated to Paid and an audit record is created.
Viewing transactions
The Transactions tab shows the immutable audit log of all payments (online and cash) with timestamps, transaction IDs, and proof links.
Setting a discount
Go to Discount to configure an early-payment discount. Set a cutoff date and percentage. The discount is automatically applied when citizens pay before the cutoff.
